This role serves as Amcor's sustainability leader for North American rigid packaging customers, enabling growth, differentiation, and long‑term partnerships through sustainable packaging and decarbonization solutions.Primary ResponsibilitiesAlign RPS North America sustainability priorities with Amcor's global strategy, translating corporate commitments into practical business and customer outcomes.Lead internal and customer‑facing decarbonization strategies, partnering with operations, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to deliver measurable emissions reductions.Serve as a sustainability leader and representative for key RPSNA customers, supporting development and long‑term partnerships.Represent Amcor Rigids North America with industry groups, and external partners, reinforcing sustainability leadership.Own sustainability‑related regulatory and policy awareness for RPSNA, translating requirements into clear business and customer guidance.Enable supplier and value‑chain collaboration to support customer sustainability commitments and circular, low‑carbon packaging solutions.Embed sustainability into RPSNA culture and capabilities through leadership engagement, training, and change management.What We ValueStrategic MindsetEngages People and TeamsSets Priorities and Drives ResultsCultivates InnovationAttracts and Develops TalentCustomer FocusDrives Vision and PurposeQualificationsB.S. / M.S. degree in engineering, marketing or equivalent is required.10+ years' of relevant product experience in packaging and/or plastics sustainability.Cross‑functional leadership, business acumen and strategic thinking.Advanced knowledge of packaging materials, technologies and processes.Deep understanding of the sustainability landscape, globally and regionally.Understanding of circular economy concepts and their implementation for packaging.Ability to coach, train and influence others.Executive level oral, written and presentation skills.Ability to travel at least 25‑30%.Salaried StatementThe starting salary for this position is expected to be between $150,000 to $180,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
