Responsibilities include sorting materials, routing to recycling or disposal facilities, maintaining documentation, and supporting sustainability efforts. Candidates should have warehouse experience and a commitment to environmental stewardship. This is a full-time position based in a warehouse environment.
At CheckSammy, we are committed to leading the way in environmental responsibility. We recognize that sustainable product and material management doesn’t end with manufacturing — it extends to the end of their lifecycle. We are seeking an End-of-Life Sustainability Specialist to join our Warehouse location in Dallas, TX.

The End of Life (EOL) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that CheckSammy’s materials and assets are properly processed and distributed to the appropriate end-of-life destinations, such as recycling centers, donation facilities, waste-to-energy plants, and certified disposal sites. Based out of a CheckSammy warehouse, this role works closely with the operations, logistics, and sustainability teams to maintain compliance, optimize resource recovery, and reduce landfill waste.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the intake, sorting, and categorization of materials received at the warehouse for end-of-life processing.
• Ensure accurate routing of items to designated EOL destinations (e.g., recyclers, donation centers, e-waste handlers, or disposal facilities).
• Maintain thorough documentation of material movement and final destinations to support sustainability reporting and client transparency.
• Partner with internal logistics teams to schedule and track shipments to downstream vendors.
• Verify vendor certifications and compliance with environmental and industry standards.
• Assist in conducting quality checks and audits to confirm proper material handling and adherence to SOPs.
• Identify opportunities for reuse, repurposing, or donation where applicable, in line with CheckSammy’s circular economy goals.
• Monitor inventory and assist with warehouse organization to streamline material flow.
• Communicate with site managers and sustainability teams to align on best practices and customer requirements.
• Support continuous improvement efforts around waste diversion, compliance, and efficiency.
• Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or sustainability roles.
• Familiarity with waste management, recycling, or environmental compliance strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active warehouse environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and inventory tracking software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to environmental stewardship and CheckSammy’s sustainability mission.

Working Conditions:
• This role is based in a warehouse setting with regular exposure to physical materials handling.
• May involve occasional travel to local EOL facilities, other warehouses or client sites.
