Job Description
Ipca Laboratories Limited is seeking a Sustainability Coordinator in Mumbai, India. The role requires 1-2 years of experience in sustainability or renewable energy. Responsibilities include coordinating ESG data collection, tracking KPIs, and managing renewable energy projects. The candidate will work with various departments and prepare reports. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. Note: This position involves travel to different plants.
Role : We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our Sustainability and Renewable Energy Department as an Associate. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in sustainability practices, renewable energy initiatives, or related fields. This role is critical in advancing our organization’s commitment to environmental stewardship, energy efficiency, and sustainable development.
Sustainability Responsibilities:
Coordination and Data Management:
• Coordinate with plant HR, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), Engineering and other related departments for ESG data collection, KPI tracking, gap analysis, and report preparation.
• Reconcile the received ESG data with supporting documents and ensure timely upload to the ESG drive.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and validate ESG data.
• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Meetings and Reporting:
• Plan meetings for all plants on a monthly basis and prepare Minutes of Meetings (MoM),
• Ensure proper reporting and documentation in accordance with BRSR, GRI and other international frameworks.
Tracking and Analysis:
• Track monthly initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs) in energy, waste, and water for all plants.
• Responsible for tracking of trainings related to ESG policies and maintaining data for all IPCA plants.
• Support verification processes and audits to achieve reasonable assurance of data quality and accuracy.
Renewable Energy Responsibilities
Utility Management:
• Review electricity bills for manufacturing and renewable energy projects.
Operations and Maintenance:
• Handle operations and maintenance (O&M) and transmission payments.
• Track O&M activities at renewable project sites.
Reporting and Monitoring:
• Prepare working reports for renewable projects (solar/wind) for submission to the accounts department for provisioning.
• Compile quarterly reports on renewable energy projects.
• Monitor daily renewable project (solar/wind) generation reports, analyzing actual vs. projected generation differences.
Land and Payments Management:
• Manage land diversion payments for renewable projects.
• Ensure timely payment to concerned departments and vendors.
• Schedule and forecast calculations for timely vendor payments.
Qualification - Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience : 1-2 years of relevant experience in sustainability, renewable energy, or environmental management.
Note: This job role has travel requirement to different plants.
