ERS Consultants Ltd is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to deliver sustainability and Building Regulations assessments in Kidlington, UK. Responsibilities include conducting SAP & SBEM assessments, producing Energy Statements, and performing thermal modelling. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering or Architecture, at least 2 years of experience, and strong knowledge of CAD & IES software. The Role:

As a Sustainability Consultants at ERS, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of sustainability and Building Regulations assessments across the built environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include carrying out SAP & SBEM assessments for both new and existing developments; Producing Energy & Sustainability Statements for planning & compliance; Performing Dynamic Thermal Modelling to assess overheating & thermal comfort; Carrying out daylight assessments; Undertaking building surveys for EPCs, Energy audits, U-Value calculations and PSI value calculations.

You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile and a wide range of projects across the residential and commercial sectors, contributing to energy strategies that support planning applications and ensure regulatory compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical expertise while making a meaningful impact in the transition to more sustainable buildings.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Degree qualified (or higher) in Engineering, Architecture, or a Built Environment discipline.

· Experience working with SAP or SBEM for compliance. At least 2 years prior experience in Sustainability.

· Experience in producing Energy & Sustainability statements for planning applications.

· Strong knowledge of CAD & IES or similar modelling software is essential.

· Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.

· A proactive, personable, and motivated individual with a flexible and resilient approach.

· Attending, organising & chairing meetings with wider project design team.

· Assist junior staff members.
