Sustainability Consultant

Source Intelligence is hiring a Sustainability Consultant to provide expertise on Product Compliance, advising stakeholders on regulatory obligations and supporting software implementation. The role involves guiding product compliance solutions, contributing to educational platforms, and communicating via webinars. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in product compliance, knowledge of relevant regulations, and excellent communication skills. The position is remote but may require occasional travel.

About the role

This role provides subject matter expertise on Product Compliance to internal and external stakeholders. You will advise customers and prospects of their regulatory obligations and best practice and support the implementation of software solutions. You will work as part of a small team of advisors, reporting to the Regulatory and Development Director.

What you’ll do
• Advise internal teams on regulations and standards applicable to our software solutions and services
• Guide the development of our product compliance solutions
• Contribute to the development of our educational platform, Source Academy
• Communicate our solutions via webinars and other marketing media
• Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory compliance and best practice
• This role is remote and desk-based. However, some travel may occasionally be required.
• Other job duties as assigned by your manager

What we’re looking for
• 2+ years of industry experience in Product compliance
• Good knowledge of RoHS, REACH, Prop65, SCIP, TSCA, PFAS and other regulations
• Background in material science, chemistry and chemical hazard assessment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex concepts
• Ability to produce high quality reports and presentations
• A pro-active person, able to work autonomously
• A drive for continuous improvement
• Technical proficiency
