Job Description
MSCI is hiring a Sustainability & Climate Client Service Analyst in Milan. The role involves managing client inquiries, enhancing client experience, and collaborating with various teams. Candidates should have a financial background, client service experience, and a strong interest in sustainability. Fluency in English and Italian is required, along with a bachelor's degree. The position offers flexible working arrangements and a focus on high performance and innovation.
Your Team Responsibilities
MSCI Inc. is seeking to expand its Sustainability Client Service team. MSCI Sustainability Research is a leading provider of sustainability and climate research to institutional investors globally. Successful candidates will have a financial background, client service experience, and exhibit an interest for the sustainability and climate business. They should have proven abilities to develop strong working relationships with external clients learn MSCI Sustainability Research products and guide clients to better use those products. Our clients span some of the world's largest pension funds and asset managers. Managing the relationships for a portfolio of clients exposes the analysts to a wide range of institution types and ensures a challenging role with daily client interactions. To succeed in the role, analysts must learn about Sustainability and Climate products and issues, about their client's line of business and investment process, and then bring that knowledge together to provide insight and best practices to those client organizations. Client Service Analysts must be adaptable, eager problem solvers, and able to lead cross-organization teams. Great communications skills are a must as they represent MSCI to all levels of client management.
Your Key Responsibilities
• First point of contact for general queries directed to client services by phone, email or online case management
• Ownership and management of client enquiry and issue resolution processes for specific case types using salesforce
• Supporting Client Coverage teams across EMEA to increase efficiency and enhance the client experience via best practice
• Work closely with Service Delivery, Client Consultants, Sales and their Client Service colleagues across EMEA
• Achieve an appropriate understanding of MSCI Sustainability Research Solutions
• Become proficient at resolving MSCI Sustainability Research client questions and issues for specific case types
• Liaise with other MSCI departments to ensure all clients’ requests/inquiries are managed appropriately
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce of client contact details and conversations, including cases, and emails
• Liaise with service delivery teams to optimize client experience
• Work on projects associated with product testing and liaise with cross-functional teams across regions
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
• 0-2 years of work experience in Sustainability/Climate (Client Service function would be preferred)
• Fluent in English and Italian
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Master’s Degree preferred
• Strong interest in Sustainability and how its factors impact the investment process
• Must be attentive to detail with a willingness to learn and grow per the business goals
• Must have an appreciation for diverse cultural norms and styles
• Prior knowledge of MSCI products and experience of a client facing role (preferred)
