• *Job Summary:**
Our district is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability and Resource Conservation Manager to lead our efforts in reducing waste, conserving resources, and promoting environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• *Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sustainable practices across the district's operations, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and recycling programs;
• Conduct regular assessments of district facilities to identify opportunities for improvement and develop plans to address them;
• Collaborate with staff, students, and community members to promote environmental awareness and engage them in sustainability initiatives;
• Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices in sustainability and apply this knowledge to improve district operations;
• Prepare and present reports on sustainability metrics and progress to district leadership and other stakeholders.
• *Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or a related field;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability management or a related field;
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives;
• Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
