McKinstry is revolutionizing the built environment by innovating sustainable solutions and creating lasting impact. As a leader in waste reduction and climate protection, we're seeking a skilled Project Manager, Sourcing and Supply Chain to join our Offsite Manufacturing team in Seattle, WA.
About the Role
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and supply chain plans to drive business growth and efficiency.
• Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure seamless logistics management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with construction timelines and project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Sourcing: Manage procurement and supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.
• Logistics Management: Partner with supply chain operations to create a strategic approach to logistics that balances risk, cost, flexibility, and customer needs.
• Cost Control: Implement cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain and monitor and analyze supply chain costs for areas of improvement.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all sourced materials and logistics operations meet quality standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
• Process Improvement: Create and refine processes to suit the needs of the offsite manufacturing business unit.
What You Need to Succeed
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or construction management, or equivalent professional experience required.
• Eight (8) years of experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing or construction environment is required.
• Experience working for an offsite modular construction firm strongly preferred.
• General Contractor or Major Mechanical or Electrical Subcontractor experience is also preferred.
• Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or Suretrak preferred.
• Completed OSHA 30 class is required.
