Supply Chain Manager Safety Jogger

Hudson Belgium is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for Safety Jogger in Hudson, OH. The role involves operational and tactical management of the supply base, leading cross-functional teams, optimizing costs, and driving inventory management. Function Analytical - communicative - team player

You are responsible for the operational and tactical management of the supply base for Safety Jogger and ensure the best results in terms of competitive pricing, quality, delivery performance and supplier stability. You play a strategic role in maintaining an efficient and sustainable supply chain aligned with Cortina's 4C sustainability strategy.
• You lead cross-functional teams (purchase managers, quality managers and supplier support) and maintain clear, effective communication with all important stakeholders.
• You continuously analyze and optimize supply chain costs through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process improvements. You innovate these supply chain processes with new technologies to boost visibility, efficiency and security and you develop strategic sourcing plans to maximize supply base potential.
• You drive efficient inventory management through data-backed decisions.
• You set and track key performance indicators to optimize supply chain performance.
• You create and execute a risk management strategy to prevent disruptions.
• You report to the Supply Chain Director.
Profile
• You have a master degree and at least 5 years of experience in a supply chain role. Experience in the footwear industry or PPE is a nice to have and experience with Far East / China is an advantage.
• You have strong analytical skills with excellent reporting and communication abilities.
• You have good planning and time management skills and are highly organized, with a structured and precise approach.
• You have strong IT skills, particularly in Office and Excel for data analyses.
• You are an independent worker who is also a strong team player.
• You are a mature personality, who is stress resistant and a skilled problem solver.
• You have the flexibility to travel across the world.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, French, German, Spanish or Italian are a plus.
