Job Description
Emonics is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer in Wickenburg, AZ, with 5-7 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain management. The role involves issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment for R&D projects. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a relevant degree. This is a full-time position that requires on-site presence.
Mandatory Skill Sets:
• Must have 5-7 years of experience related to the sourcing & supply chain management.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as Part Prints, Bills of Material, Manufacturing Routings, and Job Order forms.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer proficiency with desired experience using Microsoft Office Suite and ERP System
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt work schedule to meet deadlines.
• Previous procurement and sourcing experience in an ISO-9001 or equivalent QMS "Quality Management System”.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or technical degree. Other degrees considered with prior related experience.
Position Summary:
Supply Chain Engineer, responsible for issuing POs as per project requirements, work with approved vendors, make follow-ups, expedite and ensure on time delivery as per project timelines.
Job Description:
• Create and track purchase requirements in support of R&D/NPD projects.
• Assist purchasing team with orders and deliveries as it relates to R&D development/NPD projects.
• Develop and verify purchase orders for quantity, price, due date and supplier per Buyer's parameters.
• Convert approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders.
• Expedite and de-expedite purchase orders due to changes in demand or count.
• Be responsive and accountable for securing supplier compliance information.
• Aggressively track and communicate past due purchase orders.
• Communicate closely with suppliers to improve delivery and service.
• Initiate contacts with shop floor regarding supplier quality/delivery issues.
• Participate in and initiate cost reduction projects.
• Responsible to deliver all critical supplier on-boarding requirements (e.g., NDA to protect all intellectual property, tax documentation, vendor-master data collections of banking accounts, terms, and contact information).
• Other NPD/ Tactical buyer related tasks assigned as a valued member of the organization.
