Summary

Supply Chain Analysts improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection and analysis, process improvement and functional system support. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the supply chain function and exceptional analytics skills. It is essential for Supply Chain Analysts to possess excellent customer service skills, both internally and externally. They must effectively communicate and collaborate with various departments and suppliers, utilizing their interpersonal and problem-solving abilities to gather information and recommend improvements to the supply chain. Their ability to foster positive relationships and provide exceptional service is key to driving operational success and achieving organizational goals.

What You'll Do
• Pull and analyze data from systems such as SAP, Ariba, Aravo, ServiceNow & Maximo.
• Analyze data to identify areas of risk or areas for improvement.
• Understand how systems work from a functional standpoint and assist with testing for IT upgrades or projects.
• Run and oversee projects including gathering requirements, keeping track of risks & issues as well as mitigation steps, status reporting and communicating to key stakeholders.
• Build strong internal stakeholders with support groups like IT, Accounts Payable, Cyber, Risk Management, Corporate Taxes, etc.
• Evaluate products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
• Work closely with procurement, and key stakeholders across the organization that work with the supplier base.
• Understanding of SRP policies, procedures, and standards.
• Be flexible and adaptable to areas of change and evolution for the role.
• Proactively seeks ways to efficiently improve processes and identify gaps that can be better served by supplier management.
• Possess excellent customer service skills. Effectively communicate and collaborate with various departments and suppliers as the main point of contact for suppliers and supplier related data.

What It Takes To Succeed
• Prefer 5 years' experience within supply chain, IT, business analytics, accounting or other specific utility experience
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Knowledge of circular supply chain and supplier diversity.
• Strong understanding of Procure to Pay, Investment Recovery and Inventory Management.
• Knowledge of SAP Supply Chain modules and Maximo work management modules.
• Ability to train and mentor other employees.
• Great communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Sales/Use taxes, and warehousing processes.

Experience
• For a Level 1 (Associate), a minimum of no previous years of experience to two years related experience is required (if no degree, four-six years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling four-six years).
• For a Level 2 (Journey), a minimum of two years of experience to four years related experience is required (if no degree, six-eight years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling six-eight years).
• For a Level 3 (Senior), a minimum of five years of related experience is required (if no degree, nine years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling nine years).

Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level 1 and demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of 3 years experience at Level 2, is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.

Education

A bachelor's degree related to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
