Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Supervisor for their Karachi, Pakistan plant. The role involves supporting the Production Manager in manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with GMP/EHS policies, troubleshooting issues, and improving processes. Candidates should have a science degree, preferably Pharm D, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office and teamwork skills are essential. This is a full-time position.

Location: Karachi -Korangi Plant

Job Summary:

To support the Production Manager in manufacturing and finishing operations, ensuring that products are produced in compliance with Abbott GMP/EHS policies and procedures, local regulatory cGMP requirements, and using approved documentation.

Major Responsibilities:
• To assist Production Manager for manufacturing and finishing operations
• Ensuring that products are manufactured under conditions which meet Abbott GMP / EHS Policies / Procedures, Local Regulatory cGMP requirements & using approved documentation
• To troubleshoot manufacturing issues when needed
• Ensure adherence to monthly ADS and Supply plan
• To expose, prioritize, and reduce scrap, rework, and other wastages, and to increase yields ensuring quality & compliance
• To assist by providing information needed for measurement of applicable KPI’s of supply chain
• To participate in continuous improvement of process
• To comply with security standing orders/code of business conduct
• Maintain positive employee atmosphere
• To train the staff an applicable procedures & ensure its effectiveness

Education/Knowledge & Experience:
• Science Graduate/Master; preferably Pharm D
• Fresh or 1-2 years’ experience in the same capacity
• Proficient in MS Office
• Teamwork and problem-solving skills
