ElectraNet Pty Limited is offering a 12-week paid Summer Vacation Program for engineering and project management students in Adelaide, Australia. Participants will gain practical experience working on meaningful projects in the electricity transmission sector. Ideal candidates are in their second-to-last year of studies, possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and are eager to contribute to a sustainable energy future.

The Opportunity

ElectraNet’s Vacation Placement Program offers a 12-week paid placement, giving you the chance to gain practical experience in a supportive, real-world environment.

You’ll be embedded in our teams, working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to meaningful projects that have a real impact in South Australia and help us drive our clean energy future.

Whether you're studying engineering or project management, this is your chance to apply what you’ve learned, build your confidence, and explore career pathways in the electricity transmission sector.

Gain insight into how we plan, build, and maintain critical infrastructure, while developing your professional skills and industry connections and play a part in shaping a smarter energy future.

About You

You’re passionate about learning, eager to contribute to a sustainable energy future, and you thrive in collaborative environments. You’re also in the second-to-last year of your studies and excited to apply your knowledge in the real-world. With a strong curiosity for the energy sector, you’re ready to explore career opportunities that will develop your technical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

To be successful in this program, you will need to be studying:
• For Engineering Roles: A Bachelor or Master of Electrical Engineering
• For Project Management Roles: A Bachelor or Master degree, or a Diploma in Project Management (or similar)
