EPCOR is hiring a Supply Chain Summer Student for a full-time paid internship in Glendale, AZ, for Summer 2025. The role involves procurement functions, data analysis, contract management, and supporting buyers with procurement transactions. Interns will work on a keystone project, gain exposure to supply chain processes, and participate in networking and training opportunities. Candidates must be enrolled in a Business or Commerce program and available to work full-time.

We are hiring a Supply Chain Summer Student for a full-time paid internship located at Glendale, AZ.

In this role, you will be accountable for the day-to-day procurement functions within the US Shared Services Supply Chain group. You will provide purchasing expertise to business partners, ensuring compliance with current purchasing and EPCOR policies within specified time frames. You'll gain exposure to the P2P (Purchase to Pay) and S2C (Source to Contract) processes and work on a keystone project to see Supply Chain in practice.

What you'd be responsible for:
• Conduct a final work experience keystone project: EPCOR USA Spend Data Categorization, involving data analysis, data mining, categorizing spend, and understanding our operations, suppliers, and contractors. Provide a report and presentation on findings and recommendations at the end of the term.
• Organize and clean the contracts repository to ensure a historical record of all agreements. Work with key vendors or internal business partners to seek contracts and upload them into the EPCOR ERP (Oracle).
• Assist in SharePoint site management and new content creation.
• Support Buyers in coordinating, triaging, and processing procurement transactions, such as requisitions and purchase orders that meet business requirements.
• Support completion of procurement-related forms (supplier registrations, etc.).
• Create, revise, and manage Blanket Purchase Agreements within Oracle.
• Assist/support the competitive bidding process (RFP/RFQ) and contract administration in accordance with EPCOR policies.
• Monitor, respond, and/or action all inquiries generated through the department shared e-mail account(s).
• Provide timely and responsive customer service to customers, resolving issues and advancing complex concerns as required.
• Provide supplemental support and emergency back-up for other department administrative functions (i.e., fleet).
• Advise and make recommendations to stakeholders with respect to potential procurement risks and support stakeholders on the purchase to pay (P2P) process.
• Handle ad hoc projects as requested.

What's required to be successful:
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, ideally in a Business or Commerce related program
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day starting in May 2025
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Demonstrated proficiency with the following systems/software:
• Oracle or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
• MS Excel (intermediate or higher level of skill preferred)
• MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
