Submarine Electronic Warfare Technician with Security Clearance

Job Description:

Amentum is seeking a Submarine Electronic Warfare Engineering Technician to join our team in Honolulu, HI.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide support to engineering and design staff in various tasks including installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction, and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems according to engineering specifications.
• Install, monitor, and service AN/BLQ-10 ESM systems at various Naval locations.
• Assist with test and evaluation, checkout, certification tasks.
• Perform validations/verifications of various electronic systems.
• Review change proposals for equipment impacts.
• Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions.
• Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, trouble-shooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements.
• Establish and maintain a filing system, databases, and logs as needed for tracking project status and inventory.
• Provide technical data and evaluation for components installation, equipment maintenance, and systems consistent with engineering plans, layout, and contract requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
• Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an Active Secret Clearance.
• Seven (7) years of practical experience and High School diploma/GED or Five (5) years practical experience and an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program.
• Practical experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or repair of C5I and/or NC3 systems/equipment.
• Experience in the maintenance/repair and/or installation disciplines.
• Experience in design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents, and drawings.
• Excellent communications and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge across multiple submarine platforms and SWFTS systems.
• SSEP ESM Groom Team experience
