Job Description
:
Energetics is accepting applications for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in renewable energy for immediate employment. This is an excellent opportunity to engage in renewable energy technology consulting. Qualified candidates will have a background in engineering or science, with significant utility, industry, or R&D experience preferred. Leadership experience in R&D is a plus. The role is remote, with some travel required.

We are recruiting for expertise in:
• 15+ years of renewable energy expertise
• Assessment of renewable energy options
• Renewable energy system design and grid integration
• Operations and maintenance of renewable energy systems

Essential Duties:
• Analyze trends and technical factors in renewable energy
• Research and analyze renewable energy projects and policies
• Develop studies, reports, and summaries on renewable energy trends
• Conduct needs assessments and develop roadmaps for technology development

Qualifications &

Experience:
• Advanced degree in engineering or science, or equivalent experience
• At least 15 years of relevant renewable energy experience
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and deployment challenges
• Program and project management experience is a plus

Skills and Abilities:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self-management and teamwork capability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in sustainability

Compensation: $40 - $100/hour. Sponsorship is not available. The candidate will undergo background and drug tests.
