Job Description

Erg Group is seeking a Structured & Sustainable Finance Analyst in Genoa, Italy. The role involves supporting the head of Funding in originating and structuring debt products, coordinating ratings, and conducting market research. Key tasks include financial modeling for renewable projects, M&A support, and stakeholder management. Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor's degree and experience in the Energy sector is preferred. This is a full-time position.
Role Overview*:

The successful candidate will support the head of Funding in originating, structuring, negotiating and reporting on Debt Capital Markets instruments, Corporate Loans, and other debt products. This role involves coordinating the rating process with internal and external stakeholders, supporting M&A activities through financial due diligence, and performing market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Originate, structure, negotiate, and report on Debt Capital Markets instruments, Corporate Loans, and other debt products;
• Coordinate the rating process with internal and external stakeholders;
• Support M&A activities through financial due diligence;
• Perform market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations;
• Develop financial models for renewable projects, focusing on financing and its impact on business value;
• Draft and contribute to the group's business plan, designing financial strategies and identifying suitable financing options;
• Provide ad-hoc analysis to support management decisions;
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (administration, treasury, planning, sustainability, etc.) and external stakeholders (financial institutions, investors, consultants, auditors, law firms, rating agencies, etc.).
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field;
• Experience in the Energy sector and familiarity with rating methodology and ESG principles are considered desirable;
• Knowledge of European languages and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is also advantageous;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
