Job Description
Danaher Corporation seeks a Procurement Specialist for its Global Strategic Procurement team in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves working on projects that enhance medical research and laboratory solutions, with mentorship and collaboration opportunities. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Business or Engineering, with a GPA of 3.2 or higher. While some projects may require on-site work, software-only projects can be done remotely.
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our Global Strategic Procurement team as a Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a project that matches your interests and skills, while contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions for medical research and laboratory work.
The Global Strategic Procurement team is responsible for managing all supplier-facing aspects of the global supply chain. Our team members enjoy working on projects that have a direct impact on our products and processes, and that ultimately contribute to improving health and medicine around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work on a project under the guidance of a mentor and in collaboration with other experienced supply chain professionals.
• Document your findings and present your work to the entire team at the end of the summer.
• Due to the nature of our business, projects involving hardware may require on-site work, while software-only projects can be done remotely.
Requirements:
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of business and finance principles.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Keen to learn new technologies and domains.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in business process development.
• Knowledge of supply chain, operations, and logistics.
