The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers and senior leadership to drive value through strategic sourcing decisions. This role will develop partnerships with suppliers, establish quality and process standards, and create, communicate, and execute sourcing strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include evaluating sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to senior management, negotiating contracts with key suppliers, ensuring compliance with financial, procurement, and risk management policies, collaborating with the procurement department to identify new supplier opportunities, conducting supplier reviews, staying informed on market trends, providing leadership and mentorship, driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, analyzing procurement costs, and adapting to the evolving needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
,
• 3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain or inventory management roles; parts purchasing experience preferred.
,
• Skilled in sourcing, negotiation, market/product/supplier analysis, and contract formulation.
,
• Knowledge of truck market, parts, suppliers.
,
• Ability to use influence and persuasion without authority.
,
• Exemplary leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities.
,
• Comfort level of presenting to others, including C-suite.

• Strong time management skills.
,
• Ability to make recommendations or decisions without having all the facts.
