Youngs Farm - Organic Farm and Bakery is hiring full-time store staff for their market in Glen Head, NY. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, operating the POS system, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting customers with product selection. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, and be comfortable lifting 25-30 lbs. The position offers a salary of $18-$21 per hour, with benefits including health insurance and paid time off.
We are looking to hire full-time, year-round employees to work on either the produce or bakery side of our farm market.

Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, polite, and exceptional customer service
- Assist customers in finding and selecting fresh produce and other products
- Operate our POS system and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Answer questions and take orders over the phone with confidence
- Demonstrate product knowledge and provide recommendations to customers
- Product restocking and display

Youngs Farm is a busy organic farm located on the north shore of Long Island. We sell our own produce, as well as produce grown on other local Long Island farms. We have a commercial kitchen and bakery on site where we make a number of fresh baked goods, pies, soups, dips, dressings, and more. All of these products are sold in our market, which is open year-round, 7 days a week. We are currently looking for a passionate individual who has an interest in working for a growing small business. Knowledge of baked goods and vegetables is a plus, but we are willing to train. Interests in farming, cooking, and gardening are encouraged! The market team is on their feet for most of the day and often needs to lift 25-30 lbs, so being comfortable with that aspect of the job is essential. A professional appearance is required.
