Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a STEM High School Environmental Educator based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The educator will be responsible for developing and delivering outdoor education programs, teaching environmental science, and fostering an understanding of wildlife and ecology. They will also be tasked with supporting high school students through a project promoting hands-on learning experiences and field research within urban natural areas.

Qualifications
• Experience in Outdoor Education,

Field data collection experience within forests, wetlands
• A current or former student from a CUNY institution
• Knowledge and understanding of Ecology
• Excellent communication and teaching abilities
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Passionate about environmental conservation and education
