Staff Financial Reporting Accountant

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting both domestic and international financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a background in accounting or finance, and the ability to contribute to process improvements and key business initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Support the month-end close process by preparing and reviewing financial statements for domestic and international entities
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and accounting standards
• Analyze financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) at multiple organizational levels
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership for decision-making
• Assist senior team members with special projects and initiatives
• Focus on innovation, process improvement, and implementation of best practices
• Prepare comprehensive month-end reporting packages for various locations and divisions
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and overhead analyses
• Support deliverables related to year-end audits, statutory filings, and international subsidiary audits
• Compile financial data packets for proposals and business needs
• Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by management
• Actively participate in team meetings, fostering collaboration and results-driven outcomes

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience (public accounting experience a plus)
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Oracle, Power BI, and data modeling
• Background in percent complete accounting

This role is based in the Midwest region.
