Kemira is seeking a Sr. Manager, Procurement Operations for North America, based in Atlanta, GA. This role involves managing procurement operations, ensuring material availability, overseeing vendor management, and collaborating with various departments. Candidates should have a degree in Business or Supply Chain, with 5-7 years of relevant experience and prior leadership experience. We are now looking for a Sr. Manager, Procurement Operations, North America. This role is responsible for the management of Procurement Operations in North America. This position will support the execution of procure-to-pay processes that ensure the timely and efficient flow of direct and indirect materials into Kemira manufacturing sites, toll manufacturing sites, and external distribution centers.
In this role you will be responsible for:
• Leading and developing a team to ensure material and service availability while managing daily procure-to-pay operations, raw material availability, and product distribution across various supply chain models in North America.
• Overseeing the execution and governance of procurement operations, including vendor data management, eProcurement systems, and vendor document management in collaboration with Sourcing and PSRA.
• Managing the movement of materials between Kemira plants, from distribution centers, from third party and toller sites.
• Supporting vendor invoice management in coordination with accounts payable.
• Driving local initiatives to advance procurement operations and collaborate cross-functionally with key departments such as Manufacturing, Sourcing, Product Line Management, Planning, and Accounts Payable.
• Leading by example, demonstrating Kemira Values and Leadership principles in all projects and team interactions.
• Any other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to the team:
• Four year Degree in Business or Supply Chain with 5-7 years Manufacturing or Procurement experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Prior leadership experience with a diverse team
• Working experience in international business environment (preferred)
