Job Summary
The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Energy is responsible for managing relationships with regulated utilities to optimize account data coordination and reporting. This role supports the Enterprise Energy team in developing strategic energy sourcing opportunities and advancing company-wide clean energy goals. The position involves cross-functional collaboration to enhance energy project reporting, coordinate emissions data deliverables, and manage procurement processes for solar energy initiatives. The ideal candidate will also identify and implement innovative cost-saving projects related to energy infrastructure and supply.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities
• Manage relationships with regulated utilities to better optimize account data coordination and reporting
• Work with Enterprise Energy team to support the development of strategic energy sourcing opportunities and deliver on company-wide clean energy goals
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance reporting capabilities for implemented energy projects & energy data
• Coordinate with internal teams to provide energy and emissions data reporting deliverables
• Manage relationships and contracts for procuring services and materials for solar energy projects including issuing RFP’s, evaluating responses, reviewing contracts and obtaining legal approvals
• Identify and develop innovative cost savings projects and initiatives related to energy infrastructure and supply
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required in Engineering/Business or other technical field
• 5+ years of experience working in utility/energy industry in a commercial/business development or technical role
• 2+ years of experience working with regulated utilities, performing analysis on rates and energy cost
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, openness to use various programming languages/software
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft Teams

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s Degree (MBA) preferred
• The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem solving skills
• Experience evaluating and implementing innovative infrastructure and operational strategies within the energy sector
• Experience working directly with utility companies, energy regulators
• Experience with telecom and IT infrastructure
