Job Description
OhioHealth is seeking a Sr. Consultant for Environment, Health & Safety in Columbus, OH. The role involves monitoring and improving safety programs at a hospital, ensuring compliance with regulations such as JCAHO and OSHA. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Safety and relevant certifications. Job Description Summary
Works under the direction of Dir Safety, Environment of Care & Emergency Mgmt., and is responsible for monitoring and improving the Environment of Care and Safety program at a hospital campus. Monitors and maintains the hospitals compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, EPA and state and local regulations pertaining to safety, fire safety and environmental protection.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree: Safety (Required)
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
• Recent Life safety Code certificate.
• GSP, ASP, CSP or path to certification is preferred.
• Experience in the application of JCAHO Environment of Care standards.
• Excellent computer skills.
