Position Summary:

We are seeking a Supply Chain Surgery Business Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for managing supply chain and business relations related to clinical integration in surgical services. The role focuses on utilization management, reduction of variation, strategic planning, and optimizing physician and supplier relationships, as well as inventory management.

Essential Functions:
• Develop new impact arrangements across multiple surgical service lines.
• Represent supply chain and surgical services at physician-level meetings to implement strategies aimed at reducing costs, decreasing variation, consolidating suppliers, and optimizing the use of supplies and services.
• Oversee the inventory control team to assess inventory levels, charge capture efficiency, and maximize revenue.
• Optimize par levels to ensure inventory reduction and manage surgical services inventory valued at $5M.
• Collaborate with physicians and operational leaders to solve complex supply chain issues.
• Actively participate in value analysis to evaluate new products, services, and capital equipment, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and standardization efforts.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor productivity and ensure compliance.
• Conduct high-level business reviews with supplier executives to identify opportunities for cost reductions, growth incentives, bulk purchase opportunities, and increased value propositions.
• Mitigate unfavorable contractual commitments and drive value-added services.

Education/Training:
• Bachelor’s degree (Required)

Licensure/Certification:
• None required

Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, surgery operations, or hospital administration.
