About The Role

- The Project Finance Specialist will support the Capital Markets Team in planning, optimizing, executing, and monitoring structured finance transactions.
- Responsibilities include transaction modeling for ongoing project or hybrid financings, such as construction financing and tax equity.
- The role involves leading due diligence efforts and coordinating with various parties to navigate key project contracts and economic terms.
- The specialist will assist in maintaining existing financing structures and ongoing fundings.
- Participation in special projects, including M&A activities and new market entry, is also part of the job.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or a similar quantitative field is essential for this role.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Renewables, Power & Utilities, or Infrastructure capital markets.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and expert-level skills in Excel, including experience with VBA-based macros, are crucial for success.
- The ideal candidate will have experience managing internal and external stakeholders through complex processes under tight deadlines.
- Experience with tax-advantaged transactions and structuring, as well as familiarity with US Power or Energy Markets, will be highly regarded.
