King & Wood Mallesons is seeking a Solicitor/Senior Associate in Banking & Finance in Sydney. The role involves working on acquisition/leveraged finance and corporate finance transactions for diverse clients. Candidates should possess strong legal skills, a commitment to client service, and a desire for continuous learning. Our work We work on the leading acquisition/leveraged finance, corporate finance, private capital, syndicated TLBs, holdco, subordinated and mezzanine financings, debt trades offshore high yield financings, debt restructurings and everything in between. Our clients Our clients range from global and domestic private equity sponsors, major listed and private corporates to banks, investment banks and credit/private debt funds. We love our clients – they are smart, creative and challenge us every day. Our team You’ll be working with with Yuen-Yee Cho, Will Stawell and Dan Flanagan and their amazing team. They are the go-to choice for clients in the most complex domestic, international and cross-border finance transactions. The team are continually recognised as a Band 1 practice in Acquisition/Leveraged Finance and Corporate Finance by Chambers (and other equivalent respected legal directories). You will be joining a team with a culture of high performance, continuous learning and strong teamwork. The team is well known for its pro-active training and developing its lawyers so they are excellent all-round practitioners with great technical legal skills combined with commercial judgment. Oh, and we also create and distribute the highest quality LevFin related memes in the industry – see for example our Year in Review. You will have passion for deal doing knowledge of the market, its players and products excellent “black-letter law”, drafting, analytical, communication and people skills - to deliver prompt and commercially astute work product desire to continue learning and build your career strong commitment to client service team focus enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities - actively developing strategic relationships and networks with current and prospective clients and participating in industry related programs a good sense of humour Who are we?
