The Solar/WIND Project Head will oversee multiple solar EPC projects across India, ensuring timely completion and quality compliance. This leadership role requires over 20 years of experience in managing large projects, strategic planning, and stakeholder alignment. Responsibilities include project governance, risk management, team mentoring, and fostering continuous improvement. The position is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and is a full-time role.
SOLAR Project Head is responsible for strategic planning and overseeing the execution of MULTIPLE solar EPC projects at MULTIPLE site ACROSS INDIA, ensuring timely completion, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards. Leading a team of SITE HEADS, the role requires effective LEADERSHIP from the corporate office to drive project success while optimizing resources and maintaining budget control.
Their role is critical to ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time, while meeting quality standards and budget constraints.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an accomplished and visionary Project Head with 20+ years of experience leading large, complex, and high-impact SOLAR projects. The Project Head will be responsible for strategic planning, execution, and governance of critical projects, ensuring delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment, and business value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and leadership across multiple projects.
• Lead the Solar Projects function, setting standards for project governance, execution, and reporting.
• Manage a portfolio of large-scale projects across diverse domains (technology, infrastructure, operations, transformation, etc.).
• Partner with executive leadership to align project outcomes with strategic business objectives.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from business case development, planning, budgeting, execution, to successful delivery.
• Identify and mitigate risks at a portfolio and individual project level.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of project managers, program managers, and support staff.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and partners.
• Provide regular updates and executive dashboards to leadership.
• Drive adoption of best practices, tools, and methodologies
