Overview

We are seeking a skilled Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties.

Duties
• Build and install solar panels, including electrical wiring and mounting hardware
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout of solar panel systems
• Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installation
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as forklifts for installation tasks
• Perform fixture installation for solar panels
• Work with low voltage systems
• Assist with plumbing tasks related to solar panel installation

Qualifications
• Previous experience in solar panel installation or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in blueprint reading for solar panel layout
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively
• Knowledge of low voltage systems used in solar panel installations
• Basic plumbing skills for system connections

Job Type: Contract
