Job Description

Samuel Knight International Limited is seeking Solar Technicians for a full-time position in Maine, offering relocation support. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems, performing electrical work, and ensuring safety compliance. Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair solar energy systems on rooftops or other structures
- Perform electrical wiring and connections for solar panels and inverters
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with solar systems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient installation and operation of solar systems
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and with electrical equipment
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in solar installation or related field preferred
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in solar installation
- Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage wiring
- Ability to work at heights and on rooftops for extended periods of time
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Note: Forklift experience is a plus but not required for this position.
