Job Description
Spark Power Corp is seeking a Solar Technician in Pearsall, TX, to maintain and service utility-scale solar and battery storage facilities. Candidates should have strong electrical and mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and safety awareness. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, inspections, and documentation. A high school diploma is required, with additional electrical/mechanical education preferred. The position is full-time and does not mention remote work.
Solar Technician
Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is seeking an experienced Solar Technician to maintain and service utility-scale solar and battery storage facilities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical components of Renewable Energy assets
• Perform technical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance
• Energize and de-energize systems as required
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and document deficiencies
• Implement LOTO plans and procedures
• Interpret schematics and blueprints
• Document all work performed using digital reporting tools
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary education with an electrical or mechanical base (asset)
• State certified Journeyman license (asset)
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) (asset)
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Able to lift 75lb
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
