Solar Technician

Location: Prewitt, NM

We need two Technicians for our Escalante site we would like for them to have the following experience :
• Troubleshooting string outages
• Replacing Fuses/MC4s
• Isolating damage panels
• Wire management
• Nextracker and PE Inverter experience would be a bonus (not required)

Summary:

-Looking for OSHA10 and NFPA70e certs (electrical safety certifications are a plus!)

Duties:
- Operations and Maintenance Technician of Commercial Solar Sites.
- Ensure proper alignment and positioning of solar panels for maximum energy efficiency.
- Connect solar panels to electrical systems, following safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of solar panel systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions in solar panel systems.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in solar panel installation/technician/ or O&M/ or related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and basic wiring principles.
- Ability to use power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working at heights.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
