Solar Systems Designer

SIGNATURE SOLAR LLC is seeking a Solar Systems Designer in Sulphur Springs, TX, to create customized solar solutions for residential customers. A Solar Systems Designer at our solar company, you will work closely with customers to develop customized solar solutions, using your industry expertise and product knowledge to close high-value sales. This role is essential in designing and implementing solar energy systems, ensuring cost-effective and tailored solutions for each client. You will engage with residential customers, provide professional recommendations, and construct sales quotes to convert leads into sales.
A successful candidate must be able to:
• Proactively reach out to leads and conduct consultations via phone, email, or text.
• Assess customer needs and create customized sales quotes that align with their project requirements.
• Perform virtual site surveys and load analysis assessments to support accurate system design.
• Track the customer’s solar design from introduction through installation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in solar energy.
• Assist in improving design tools, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and training sessions to further develop expertise.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

Qualifications:
• Passion for renewable energy and a drive to expand knowledge in the solar industry.
• Background in B2C or retail sales; other customer service experience will be considered.
• Previous experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is highly desirable.
• NABCEP PVA certification preferred; PVDS certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

This role requires flexibility, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays to accommodate customer schedules and events. Shifts are 8-hour increments Monday–Friday (8 AM–7 PM) with a required monthly Saturday shift (9 AM–2 PM).
