Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and assessments of land, structures, and natural resources. This role requires proficiency in various surveying techniques and technologies, including GPS and CAD software. The Surveyor will collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate data collection for project planning and execution.

Responsibilities
• Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment such as Trimble GPS systems and 3D scanners.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to topography, boundaries, and land features.
• Prepare detailed survey reports and draft plans using Civil 3D and CAD software.
• Utilize GIS technology to manage spatial data effectively.
• Apply principles of trigonometry and algebra to solve surveying problems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of survey results and methodologies used.
• Provide recommendations based on survey findings to support project development.

Experience
• Proven experience in land surveying or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Trimble equipment for data collection is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with GIS applications and CAD software for drafting plans is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts including trigonometry and algebra.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24 to $26/hour based solely on experience

Expected hours: 40 per week
