Job Description
Moss & Associates LLC is seeking a Solar Safety Manager to support their Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. The role involves leading EHS functions on project sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with project teams. Candidates should have a background in Occupational Health and Safety or related leadership experience, with knowledge of relevant regulations. The position requires travel across multiple states including New Mexico, Colorado, and Florida.

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss' Solar Safety Manager supports the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team in the development implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Moss Solar's EHS programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements within an assigned project. This position will achieve that goal by being in a position to lead a project site.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads EHS functions on a project siteProvides direction and oversight of project EHS teamAbility to prioritize, delegate, and complete multiple tasksSupports the maintenance and implementation of EHS programs, compliance plans, and initiatives on assigned siteSupports and leads by influence and strategic partnership with project and construction team on assigned siteKeeps safety credentials currentDemonstrated ability to evaluate environmental health and safety related risksKnowledge of record-keeping principles and practicesDemonstrated ability to evaluate potential EHS-related risksDemonstrated ability to work independently and with a team with attention to detail and organizational abilitiesPerform other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Associates or BS in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred) or greater than 5 years of leadership experience in a related fieldMust have knowledge of DOT/DOL/EPA regulation and OSHA/industrial safety compliance as they relate to the power generation industrySTS, CHST/OHST, ASP, CSP, or other recognized professional safety certificationSkills/Abilities:Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacyAbility to interact and communicate effectively at all levels and across diverse culturesEffective organization and planning skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to safely drive a company vehicle. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving recordDemonstrated ability to use standard office software programs, including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, etc.JOB DETAILS
