Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will enhance operational efficiency and ensure optimal performance of our solar installs. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, system design, and project management, along with proficiency in various software tools.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate and communicate with the field install team
• Collaborate with the operations team to schedule installs and inspections
• Review install calendars
• Schedule servicing
• Review plan designs prior to installs
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems during the implementation phase
• Review completed installs to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards
• Follow up with and provide technical support to homeowners
• Update 3rd parties on jobs
• Assist with operations team tasks
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful completion within scope.

Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
• Proven experience in Solar Industry or a similar is preferred
• Familiarity with systems engineering principles and practices is essential
• Experience in project management methodologies will be an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role
