Solar PV Technical Design Engineer

Are you a passionate and experienced Solar PV Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled professional to design, specify, and oversee solar PV installations across domestic and commercial projects. What You'll Do:

✅ Full project lifecycle management - from concept to sign-off
✅ Design and specify solar PV systems for roof and ground-mounted installations
✅ Conduct site surveys and assessments for commercial and domestic projects
✅ Utilise PV design software including PVsyst, AutoCAD, and PVSol
✅ Liaise with District Network Operators (DNOs) and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs)
✅ Work with a team of renewable energy experts while also managing projects independently
What We're Looking For:

✔ Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR significant PV design experience
✔ 4+ years of solar PV design experience in domestic and commercial projects
✔ Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, and PVSol for high quality system design
✔ Knowledge of CHP, gas, and battery storage systems (desirable)
✔ Experience handling DNO applications and grid connection processes
✔ Strong problem solving skills and a passion for renewable energy
