Solar PV Installer

Ace Electrical (Wolverhampton) Ltd is seeking an experienced Solar PV Installer to join their team in Wolverhampton, UK. The role involves installing solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties across the West Midlands. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, a full UK driving license, and be physically fit. The position offers a permanent contract with benefits including salary based on experience, pension, and training opportunities.

Due to our continued success, we are looking for anExperienced Solar PV installerto join our expanding team, reporting to our Installations Manager based in Wolverhampton and working around the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience installing residential and commercial systems.

Applications are sought from experienced solar PV installers.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties
• Working on pitched and flat roofs and ground arrays
• Install mounting brackets, rails and panels, modular and tub installations as required
• Assist with the running of DC cables, trunking, conduit and cable tray
• Aid the electricians in running cables, connecting isolators and assist in the installation of batteries

EssentialSkills & Experience
• Trained in working at heights
• Experience working on slate roofs
• 2 years experience of installing solar PV
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Fluent English Language
• Physically fit and manual handling experienced
• Excellent problem solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Great customer service skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Positive and flexible "can do" attitude.
• Comprehensive awareness of Health & Safety and environmental requirements and processes
• Hardworking, trustworthy and self motivated individual who possesses a positive can do attitude
• Strong communication skills in liaising with colleagues as well as direct with clients and customers

Desirable Skills & Experience;
• Current CSCS or ECS card
