• Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Estimator to lead our utility-scale solar PV, battery energy storage system (BESS) and HV/MV substation/transmission estimates. The successful candidate will work closely with our Preconstruction Team, Project Managers, Purchasing, and Engineering teams.

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for managing subcontractors, developing and maintaining relationships, managing the subcontractor database, preparing vendor Requests for Quotes, and evaluating vendor pricing.

This role will report to the Assistant Chief Estimator, Renewable Division.
• Key Responsibilities
• Lead utility-scale solar PV, battery energy storage system (BESS) and HV/MV substation/transmission estimates
• Manage subcontractors and develop relationships with vendors and partners
• Prepare vendor Requests for Quotes and evaluate vendor pricing
• Perform all levels and types of estimating, planning, scheduling, and cost engineering for project activities
• Requirements*
• Ten years of estimating experience in solar PV, battery energy storage, substations, and procurement of materials and services
• Knowledge of power delivery, including substations and transmission lines
• Knowledge of all engineering scopes, including electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and permitting compliance
