Solar Project Manager

Efficient Networks International is seeking a Solar Project Manager in Singapore to manage solar energy projects from design to handover. Responsibilities include overseeing project execution, financial management, on-site leadership, safety compliance, and continuous improvement. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, 3-5 years of solar project management experience, and proficiency in relevant software. This is a full-time position requiring on-site presence and travel.
As a Solar Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of solar energy projects, from initial design to final handover. You will oversee all aspects of project execution, including financial performance and on-site management, to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Job Requirements & Responsibilities
• Project Execution: Design, build, and install solar energy systems. This includes hands-on implementation on-site and managing the full construction process from pre- to post-construction.
• Project Financials: Manage project Profit and Loss (P&L) to ensure projects are completed within budget.
• On-site Management: Lead and manage installation teams, acting as the key contact point between the company and the client during the construction stage.
• Planning & Control: Create and execute project work plans, revise as needed, and ensure a smooth delivery and project completion/System Turn On.
• Safety & Quality: Identify and mitigate potential safety risks and ensure all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements are met. You will also be responsible for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement planning to enhance project delivery processes.
Skills and Competencies
• Experience: A Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in Solar Project Management.
• Industry Expertise: Experience in solar project execution, particularly with SolarNova, is a significant advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in energy modeling software (PVsyst), Autocad, and construction modeling software is required.
• Interpersonal Skills: An excellent communicator who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate is results- and customer-oriented, creative, and passionate about renewable energy.
• Certifications: Six Sigma / Kaizen certification will be an added advantage.
• Residency: This position is open to Singaporeans/PRs only.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours

Working Location: Kallang (Able to travel to sites)
