Job Description
InstaGroup Ltd is seeking a Solar Project Coordinator in Wokingham, UK. The role involves supporting solar and funding teams by providing customer service, preparing quotes, coordinating installations, and managing project administration, particularly under the ECO4 grant scheme. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills. A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is preferred. This position is not remote and requires on-site work.

We are looking for a highly organised, customer-focused Solar and Project Coordinator to join our growing team. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our Solar and Funding Teams by providing excellent customer service, preparing quotes, coordinating installations, and managing project-related administration. You will also be involved in managing jobs under the ECO4 grant scheme, ensuring compliance, timely progress, and a smooth customer experience from enquiry to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the first point of contact for potential customers seeking solar solutions.
• Liaise with the Solar Designer to prepare and send tailored estimates.
• Schedule surveys and coordinate appointments with customers and our Planning Team.
• Follow up on quotations and actively support the sales process.
• Process customer deposits and manage the installation booking process.
• Prepare and issue comprehensive solar handover packs, including all required documentation.
• Upload job details to internal systems such as NAV and PAS.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to confirm completed works and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in the administration and management of projects under the ECO4 grant scheme.
• Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with grant requirements, and timely progression of funded projects
Skills and Experience Required:
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience in working and performing in a telesales role
• Excellent time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident and friendly communication skills – both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to customer service and sales follow-up.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast pace team.
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
Desirables But Not Essential
• Previous experience or passion for solar and renewable energy
• Previous experience in grant-funded schemes (such as ECO4)
• CAD Experience
• Technically minded

• Competitive salary up to £28,000.00 per annum
