Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties
• Install solar panels on rooftops and ground-mounted systems according to specifications.
• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal installation locations and configurations.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations.
• Dig trenches for wiring and other components as needed.
• Perform welding tasks for structural support when necessary.
• Ensure all installations comply with local regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or maintenance.

Skills
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to solar installation.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand and work with various mechanical systems.
• Basic electrical skills, including an understanding of wiring and electrical connections related to solar energy systems.
• Ability to dig trenches safely and efficiently for installation purposes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services or Gold Card
• 18 Edition wiring regulation
