Bridgeway Power is seeking a Solar O&M Manager in New Delhi, India, with over 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar operations. Job Overview

As the Solar O&M Manager – Utility Scale, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end operations, maintenance, and performance optimization of large-scale solar PV plants. You will ensure technical uptime, manage field teams, oversee vendor coordination, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across utility solar assets.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance Execution
• Lead the daily operations and preventive/corrective maintenance of solar PV plants (1 MW and above).
• Ensure maximum plant availability and performance through timely response and system checks.
• Monitor SCADA and remote systems; analyze plant performance data and troubleshoot low-performing areas.
• Implement best-in-class predictive maintenance strategies.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on generation, availability, breakdowns, and PR (Performance Ratio).
• Identify root causes of underperformance and implement corrective actions.
• Work with the analytics team to track KPIs like inverter uptime, PR%, CUF%, grid availability, etc.

Team & Vendor Management
• Supervise O&M field staff (engineers, technicians) and third-party service vendors.
• Conduct regular site audits, tool and spare inventory checks, and training programs.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all technicians are trained in HIRA, PPE, lockout-tagout, etc.

Compliance & Documentation
• Maintain records of inspections, permits, work orders, and statutory compliance documents.
• Liaise with DISCOMs, SLDCs, and other regulatory bodies for approvals and metering coordination.
• Ensure audit readiness for ISO, IEC, and other certifications.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in O&M of utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Strong knowledge of inverter technology, SCADA systems, and grid compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret SLDs, layouts, and technical drawings.
• Comfortable working in field conditions, with occasional travel across sites.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel dashboards, and asset monitoring platforms.
• Strong communication, people management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of IEC standards, MNRE/CEA regulations, and grid connectivity norms.
• Experience with drone-based inspections, thermography, and advanced diagnostics tools.
• Exposure to ERP/CMMS-based maintenance tracking.
