Position Description
Origis Services, LLC is a rapidly expanding Operations and Maintenance provider in the United States. Our solar asset portfolio continues to increase at a near exponential rate, with a mixture of Owner developed and constructed sites and third-party sites contracted, or already under management. Our goal is to provide a more inclusive service capability, driving out the large expenses that are normally passed through to the owner.
The position of Solar Landscaping and Maintenance is responsible for the daily vegetation management of a large solar farm. May also be trained as a Solar Technician.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for the vegetation control at Solar Power Plant
• Solid understanding of working tractors and associated landscaping machinery. Knowledgeable of maintenance requirements and capable of maintaining the equipment
• Responsible for documentation including, but not limited to, work orders, service orders, time logs, and emergency information schedules
• Maintains inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels
• Maintain high quality control on provided tools, vehicles, and materials
• Employment may require working on weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
• Valid Driver’s License
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow, working independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to perform necessary physical activity, including kneel, crawl, lifting, pushing, pulling up to 80 pounds
• Ability to effectively communicate
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions (heat/cold uneven terrain)
• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands to dexterously maneuver small parts such as wires, screws, and various components within mechanical equipment.
