Solar Installer – Craftsmanship, Safety & Teamwork
Location: Idaho | Reports to: Field Manager

About the Role:
As a Solar Installer, you’ll be responsible for the physical installation of residential solar systems, including racking, panels, and electrical components. You’ll work as part of a close-knit field team and play a direct role in delivering a great customer experience by ensuring that our installs are clean, safe, efficient, and code-compliant.
Key Responsibilities:Installation Excellence:
• Safely install roof-mounted solar arrays, racking systems, and modules according to design specifications.
• Assist with electrical scope of work, including conduit runs, wire management, panel connections, and system commissioning.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure job sites are clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship standards to reflect RevoluSun’s reputation for premium service.
• Support job site preparation, staging materials, and cleanup.
Teamwork & Communication:
• Work collaboratively with crew leads, electricians, and other installers to meet project timelines.
• Communicate clearly with the Field Manager and Project Ambassador about job progress or challenges.
• Represent RevoluSun professionally on site, respecting customers’ homes and property.
Learning & Growth:
• Participate in regular trainings and safety meetings.
• Stay current on best practices and advancements in solar technology.
• Ask questions, take initiative, and look for opportunities to grow your skills and career in solar.
What We’re Looking For:
• Construction or roofing experience preferred; solar installation experience is a bonus but not required.
• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and with power tools in varying weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of basic hand and power tools, measurement, and site safety.
• Detail-oriented and reliable—you take pride in doing quality work and showing up on time.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude—you work well with others and are willing to jump in where needed.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the solar industry.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week

Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Extended hours
• Monday to Friday
• Nights as needed
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:
• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
