Job OverviewAs a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of solar panels and related equipment to support renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities- Assist in the installation of solar panels on rooftops or other structures- Perform fixture installations and connect wiring to ensure proper functioning- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for solar panel installations- Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly and installation tasks- Work with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems- Handle materials and equipment safely, including operating a forklift if required
Skills- Experience in fixture installation and working with hand tools- Knowledge of electrical systems, both low voltage and high voltage- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics- Familiarity with commercial electrician practices is a plus- Comfort working on rooftops for solar panel installations
