Solar Installation Fabricator

Hexagon Group of Companies is seeking a Solar Installation Fabricator in Makati, Metro Manila. The role involves fabricating and assembling components for solar PV installations, operating machinery, and ensuring quality and safety standards. Candidates should have experience in metal fabrication and be able to read blueprints. A high school diploma is preferred, and the position is full-time with fieldwork required.
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Installation Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and preparing structural components for solar PV installations. This role involves working with various materials, tools, and machinery to ensure high-quality, durable solar mounting and support structures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
• Fabricate and assemble metal components for solar panel racking, mounts, and frames according to blueprints and technical drawings.
• Operate welding equipment, cutting tools, and other fabrication machinery safely and accurately.
• Measure, cut, grind, and shape materials (e.g., aluminum, steel) to precise specifications.
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure components fit and function properly on-site.
• Perform quality checks to verify structural integrity and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist in modifying or repairing existing structures as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to prevent workplace accidents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or relevant certification preferred).
• Experience in metal fabrication, welding, or related fields.
• Preferably familiar with solar mounting systems and installation processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Amenable to do field work.
