Solar Installation Director

The Solar Installation Director at Our World Energy in Mexico City will oversee solar installation projects, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with homeowners. Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, collaborating with various teams, and providing training and mentorship to staff. Candidates should have a relevant degree, at least 3 years of project management experience, and strong leadership skills. This position is contractor-based.
As a key member of our team at Our World Energy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of solar installation projects. As a Solar Installation Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of these projects, from sale to PTO, and ensuring timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain close communication with homeowners, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Account Managers, Sales Support, and Department Heads to align on project timelines and deliverables.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be expected to provide training sessions for team members on best practices in project management and solar technology. You will also mentor and coach junior project managers and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in working in the solar industry.
• Demonstrated experience in managing high-stakes partnerships and delivering successful outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments.
