Trinity Solar is seeking a motivated and skilled Installation Crew Leader to oversee the installation of residential solar systems. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on installation work with crew oversight, ensuring that every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
As a Crew Leader, you’ll play a vital role in guiding your team in the field, solving on-site challenges, and helping homeowners take the step toward renewable energy. Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and participate in the installation of residential solar modules, racking, and equipment in compliance with NEC codes, company standards, and safety best practices.Provide day-to-day guidance, direction, and technical expertise to the installation crew.Ensure thorough documentation of each installation, including photos, array and equipment diagrams, and existing site features, and submit all materials promptly.Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, inspectors, and internal teams throughout the project.Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly jobsite that reflects company professionalism.Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, following all policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.1-2 years of solar installation, electrical, or related construction experience.Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort using tools, climbing ladders, and working at heights for extended periods.Ability to kneel, crouch, and lift/move 40-50 lbs. regularly in varying outdoor conditions.Proven ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and maintain a positive, productive work environment.Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.Must have reliable attendance and commitment to safety.
